Two scopes delivered on one Ocoee property, months apart. First 305 linear feet of aluminium fence with two gates, set and squared in three days. Then the exterior of the house itself: 2,215 square feet of stucco, fascia and garage doors, prepared and repainted over six days.
Ocoee is an incorporated city, so permits for work inside the city limits go through the city rather than through Orange County. It is a different submittal and a different inspection queue, and it is worth knowing which one applies before a start date gets promised.
The other thing that moves a date here is the association. Where a property is in an HOA — and in the newer subdivisions west of Orlando that is usual — its approval is normally the longer wait, not the permit. A fence height, a gate style or an exterior colour can all need to go in front of a board before anything is ordered. We prepare that submittal as part of the scope, because a fence delivered to a colour the board then rejects is a fence built twice.
